Sandwich restaurant chain Quiznos plans to open up to six additional locations in Pump & Pantry convenience stores across Nebraska as part of its ongoing North American expansion, the company said.

Each location will be created under Quiznos’ compact gas and convenience-store models that offer franchisees maximum flexibility and efficiency and are designed to accommodate spaces too small for traditional restaurant development.

The deal is the second phase of a partnership with Grand Island, Nebraska-based Bosselman Enterprises, which owns the Pump & Pantry c-store chain in Nebraska.

  • Bosselman Enterprises is No. 124 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Since its formation in 2022, the partnership has resulted in the opening of four Quiznos locations in Nebraska. Under the agreement signed this year, Bosselman will open six new locations between 2024 and 2026.

“At Pump & Pantry, we are constantly looking for ways to increase convenience to better serve our customers and communities through new concepts and offerings,” said Charlie Bosselman, CEO of Bosselman Enterprises. “Quiznos very much shares that vision, not only in the ways in which they support franchisees and keep our interests at heart, but in how they continuously look to raise the bar in terms of technology and innovation.”

The first Quiznos location at a Pump & Pantry opened in 2022 in Kearney, Nebraska, and three additional locations followed in 2023, one in Columbus, Nebraska, and two in Grand Island. During the first half of 2024, Bosselman opened three additional locations, with the latest opening in Fremont, Nebraska, on June 27.

Pump & Pantry features Boss Fuel gasoline, diesel fuels, ethanol blend fuels, groceries, propane, snacks, fountain drinks, energy drinks, cappuccino, beer, liquor, lottery, cigarettes, fresh coffee, Pumped Up Donuts, ice cream, ATMs and more. The company also has Boss Truck Stop and Bosselman Travel Centers.

Founded in 1981, Denver-based Quiznos has locations across the United States, Canada and 32 countries. Quiznos restaurants offer chef-inspired sandwiches, subs and salads.
