Road Ranger Opens Pretzel Bakery in New Travel Center

Retailer partners with Ben’s Soft Pretzels, offers 4 product styles

ROCKFORD, Ill. — The Road Ranger convenience-store chain has partnered with Ben's Soft Pretzels to open a pretzel bakery in its new Brinkley, Ark., travel center, which opened June 15.

The store will offer Ben's nearly half-pound Jumbo Soft Pretzel with imported German salt, Pretzel Bites made for snacking on-the-go, sweet Dutch Almond Pretzel Bites and dippable Pretzel Sticks, along with a variety of sweet and savory hand-dipped sauces.

“We are excited to introduce Ben’s Soft Pretzels to the Arkansas region in our newest travel center location in Brinkley," said Jim Lenon, director of operations, Road Ranger USA, Rockford, Ill. "The quality and taste of a Ben’s Soft Pretzel fits perfectly into what Road Ranger’s foodservice experience is all about.”

Road Ranger is a division of Chilean retailer Enex. It owns and operates 39 convenience stores in six states and ranked No. 157 on CSP's2020 Top 202 list of U.S. c-store chains by number of retail outlets.
