Rutter's Adds a Turkey Burger to Its Menu Lineup

New option is fully customizable

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter’s Farm Stores is now offering their customers the choice of selecting lean turkey burgers for their burger creations. The option is the latest addition to the convenience-store chain's permanent menu.

According to the company, Rutter’s will be the first foodservice retailer in the area to offer turkey burgers to c-store customers. All 68 Rutter’s locations will feature turkey burgers on their menus. In addition to Rutter’s 100% Angus beef and black-bean burgers, turkey burgers will be available as a patty selection for any made-to-order burger, including Rutter’s signature Route 30 Burgers and Ultimate Burgers.

“A healthier burger option has been requested by multiple customers who still crave a meat burger but want a leaner option. At Rutter’s, we try to give our customers as many different options as possible to create their own breakfast, lunch or dinner masterpiece. Turkey burgers are now one of those great customizable options,” said Ryan Krebs, Rutter’s director of foodservice.

Based in York, Pa., Rutter’s Farm Stores owns and operates more than 65 c-stores in two states. It ranked No. 92 on CSP’s 2017 Top 202 list of the largest c-store chains in the United States.
