YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has added fried shrimp and meal baskets to the convenience store chain's menu.
Each fried shrimp order contains 10 lightly breaded shrimp. The shrimp can be paired with the customer's choice of cocktail, tartar sauce or Rutter's all-new Bada-Bing sauce, a spicy, sweet dipping sauce.
Customers can add Rutter's new fried shrimp to salads, tacos and quesadillas and also order them as an entrée in Rutter's brand new basket meals.
The company is targeting the baskets at busy customers to give them another option at dinner time, as well as a convenient manner in which to request a large order without having to push a button for each item in the meal. Customers choose their entrée and the dipping sauce to go with it.
Each basket is a complete meal that includes one of five entrees; chicken wings, beef short ribs, shrimp, mahi-mahi bites or chicken strips. In addition to the entrée, each basket comes with a large order of fries, coleslaw, dinner roll and a dipping sauce.
York, Pa.-based Rutter's Farm Stores operates 60 convenience stores throughout south central Pennsylvania.
