
Rutter’s is a top 12 finalist in the 2025 Best Foodvenience Store in the World competition for its convenience store that features a sports bar and video gaming terminals. The contest is run by media company Global Convenience, recognizing convenience retail foodservice.
- Rutter’s is No. 79 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.
If selected as the winner, York, Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s will become the first U.S. store to receive this honor. Voting is open until Nov. 6, with the winner scheduled to be announced by Shrewsbury, U.K.-based Global Convenience on Nov. 13.
Rutter's is recognized for its Milton, Pennsylvania, store, which is 14,000-square-feet and features a bar and lounge. The sports bar and convenience-store concept for customers 21 and older features a selection of adult beverages, such as canned cocktails, beer and wine. It also has more than 20 65-inch TVs, live sports tickers with real-time updates and five video gaming terminals. In addition to the entertainment space, the Rutter’s location offers made-to-order food, beer caves, fuel and more.
