YORK, Pa. To celebrate America’s birthday, Rutter’s convenience stores added Red, Spiked and Blue Slushies in its ongoing partnership with the Steel Reserve brand.

Rutter’s is adding Spiked Fruit Punch and Spiked Blue Razz to its Spiked Slushies flavor lineup this month. Both flavors are available in 20-ounce individual cups and 64-ounce and 128-ounce party bags.

“At Rutter’s, we’re always looking for ways to continue giving our customers the best Spiked Slushies offering,” said Sean Pfeiff, senior category manager. “We’re excited to add the Spiked Fruit Punch flavor to our current options, just in time for summer.”

Rutter’s added Spiked Slushies to its adult beverage menu in 2019 and was the first convenience-store chain in Pennsylvania to offer them, it says. Customers can now get Spiked Slushies in 42 Rutter’s locations throughout Pennsylvania. Each store will offer the two new entries along with up to 14 other flavors.

Rutter’s sold a Shamrock Spiked Slushie in March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and last year the chain rolled out fall-themed beverages to celebrate autumn: pumpkin-flavored lattes, frappes and cappuccinos; pumpkin pie milkshakes and milk; and pumpkin-flavored creamers and syrups with which to customize dispensed beverages.

York, Pa.-based Rutter’s operates 78 stores in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland and is No. 87 on CSP's 2021 Top 202 ranking of the largest c-store chains in the United States.
