GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Midwest convenience-store supplier S. Abraham & Sons Inc. (SAS) will host its 10th annual Foodservice Showcase on Aug. 15 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis. The show will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature 54 exhibitors showcasing nearly 730 items, including Fruit Ridge Farms sandwiches; General Mills microwavable stuffed waffles; Jack Link's protein bowls from Golden West Food Group; Deli Express San Luis Burritos; Sunny Sky’s Pure Craft juice program; and Papa Primo’s pizza from Orion Food Systems.

Also highlighted at the showcase will be SAS’s FreshBite Cafe—a concept that groups suppliers' foodservice offerings together, giving c-store operators the chance to offer healthy meals and snacks to customers. SAS programs featured in the FreshBite Cafe include the Hot Off the Grill roller-grill program, Fresh From the Deli cooler program and Beantown Coffee and Joe Coffee programs.

The company will also provide retailers the opportunity to see new equipment from dispensed beverage equipment manufacturer Bunn-O-Matic, including its bean-to-cup technology.

SAS has collaborated with the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), a nonprofit aimed at combating child obesity, for the showcase. PHA items will be available for purchase from various manufacturers participating in the event.
