GREENVILLE, S.C. — The Spinx Co. Inc. is bringing meals on wheels to South Carolina with the launch of its new Cluk Truk food truck.

The Cluk Truk will offer Spinx’s flagship fried chicken tenders as well as items such as buffalo chicken snack wraps, chicken tender salads, chicken tender sandwiches, cole slaw, French fries and canned soda and Spinx’s private-label water.

The food truck will be available for booking beginning this fall, Spinx said. Until then, it is only available at Spinx convenience stores in South Carolina’s Upstate region, which includes Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson, S.C.

“We are so excited to offer a new and enjoyable way to serve the Upstate community,” said Stewart Spinks, founder and chairman of The Spinx Co. “This has been a longtime dream in the making, and we believe that it will provide a unique way to introduce our legendary fried chicken to even more people across the state.”

Spinx operates more than 90 locations, including c-stores and tunnel car washes. Newest c-stores have full-service kitchens, and the chain is known for its Southern fried chicken. The company employs more than 1,400 associates through its stores, food operations and related businesses. The Greenville, S.C.-based chain is No. 75 on CSP's 2020 Top 202 ranking of c-stores by number of company-operated outlets.
