Warm German Idaho Potato Salad with Smoked Brisket (pictured) is the first of five recipes that CSP sister publication FoodService Director turns the spotlight on in a story from Aug. 26 looking at a handful of Oktoberfest-inspired recipes to celebrate the iconic German folk festival.

“This German-inspired potato salad created by Chef Paul Muller features Idaho gold potatoes tossed in a warm bacon vinaigrette and topped with smoky brisket, caramelized onions, and horseradish cream sauce,” FoodService Director wrote.

Other recipes include Braised Aussie Beef with Spaetzle Noodles and Black Forest Donuts.
