Fast-food giant McDonald’s on April 2 revealed an Under $3 Menu that will debut April 21, according to CSP sister publication Restaurant Business.

“The menu will include featured items, starting with the Sausage McMuffin at $1.50 in the morning and the McDouble at $2.50,” Restaurant Business reported.

The debut comes “just as the economy shows signs of weakening as gas prices take off and consumer sentiment declines,” according to Restaurant Business.
