Searches for mushroom coffee are up 87% year over year, according to Yelp’s 2025 Trend Forecast, CSP sister publication Restaurant Business reported.
These searches are on the rise as mushrooms’ functional benefits gain momentum.
“At Wunderground Coffee in Seattle, Brain Wash mocha is a signature beverage that contains 1,000 milligrams of adaptogenic mushrooms,” Restaurant Business wrote. “These are medicinal mushrooms that can provide an energy boost much like caffeine and may help improve cognitive function and focus.”
Searches online for new coffee beans, experiences and flavorings also are rising, Restaurant Business said.
