Convenience-store retailers looking to up their coffee game should take a look at Butte, Montana-based Town Pump Inc.
The convenience-store chain is partnering with Russo Modular on the development of compact, 400-square-foot modular coffee kiosks designed for placement outside existing Town Pump convenience stores and truck stops.
The kiosk name, Stonehouse Coffee Shots, is a nod to Stone House Coffee Co., Town Pump’s proprietary coffee brand, Bill McGladdery, the chain’s director of corporate communications, told CSP on March 20.
Russo Modular is a Phoenix-based manufacturer of factory-built steel commercial buildings.
The first kiosk should be operational within a month, McGladdery said. Kiosks will be added to locations where space is available and where traffic flow allows for it, he said.
