Convenience-store retailers can spice up their foodservice offerings by partnering with a third-party provider.

Westborough, Massachusetts-based EG America recently entered into an agreement with Atlanta-based Krispy Krunchy Chicken to open the fried chicken concept in locations under several of its convenience-store banners, primarily Cumberland Farms.

The first five locations will launch inside Cumberland Farms stores across the Florida Panhandle, starting with the Santa Rosa Beach store, which opened Sept. 22.
