Maverik convenience stores will soon be carrying single-serve Birria and Cheese Pupusas from Hispanic fresh foods maker Del Real Foods, Mira Loma, California.

The pupusas will be available at more than 800-plus Maverik locations.

Daniela Simpson, chief marketing officer of Del Real Foods, told CSP that this product is the company’s first single-serve product, created specifically for convenience stores.

The partnership represents “a major growth opportunity for our brand, with Maverik playing a key role in driving product trials and expanding our distribution,” Simpson said.
