Popeyes is pouring it on in the pickle department.
Over the last three years, Popeyes has been developing a variety of offerings that include pickles, CSP sister publication Restaurant Business recently reported.
The first item was Fried Pickles (pictured), “using the same batter that goes on Popeyes’ now-famous pioneering chicken sandwich,” Restaurant Business wrote. “The crispy, golden-brown fried pickles, served with a side of ranch, were actually first introduced during the pandemic but put on the back burner for a while.”
This was followed by a pickle-flavored glaze, being used on three items on the limited-time Popeyes Pickle Menu, which also includes a Pickle Lemonade.
