Convenience-store retailers can take advantage of strawberry season by incorporating the fruit into menu offerings.

CSP sister publication Foodservice Director recently offered a few recipes using strawberries.

A Strawberry Cornbread Panzanella (pictured), for example, includes juicy strawberries replacing the traditional tomatoes and cornbread replacing crusty Italian bread, “giving this bread salad a summery twist,” Foodservice Director wrote.

Elsewhere, there’s Oregon Strawberry Shortcakes, a Strawberry Napoleon and more.
