HOUSTON — Foodservice beverage manufacturer Sunny Sky Products has acquired dispensed beverage producer Amfotek for an undisclosed amount.
According to the deal, Sunny Sky Products will attain Amfotek's equipment and manufacturing facility in Tinley Park, Ill. Amfotek will continue its daily operations from this location, which is also the company’s headquarters.
“Amfotek's product line and customer base is a perfect complement to Sunny Sky’s,” said W. Ashley Edens, president and CEO of Sunny Sky Products. “We already have a large customer base in powdered dispensed beverages, and this acquisition will solidify our leadership position in this space.
