TravelCenters of America Opens Charleys Philly Steaks & Wings in Nashville

Marks the fourth TA-operated location nationwide

WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express brands,has opened a Charleys Philly Steaks & Wings at its travel center located off Interstate 24 South in Nashville.

The restaurant can seat 66 people and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. This is the first TA-operated Charleys in Nashville and the fourth nationwide. The others are in Wilmington, Ill.; Morris, Ill.; and Shorter, Ala., a TA representative told CSP Daily News.

TA Restaurant Group includes nearly 650 quick-service and full-service restaurants, with 10 proprietary restaurant brands. The company owns 43 Quaker Steak & Lube full-service restaurants in 12 states. Besides Charleys, its third-party QSR brands include Popeye's, Subway, Taco Bell, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dunkin', Starbucks. Arby's, Wendy's, Dairy Queen and more.

Charleys’ cheesesteaks are made with either chicken or steak and come in eight varieties: Philly Cheesesteak, Pepperoni Cheesesteak, Bacon 3 Cheesesteak, Jalapeno Cheesesteak, Chicken Philly, Chicken California, Chicken Buffalo and Chicken Teriyaki. The company also offers Grilled Deli Phillys in Italian Deluxe, Ultimate Club, Turkey Cheddar Melt and Veggie delight varieties. Each sandwich comes with a choice of Gourmet Fries and Real Fruit Lemonade.

Charleys’ classic and boneless chicken wings—the newest addition to its menu—are hand-tossed in 10 flavors ranging from Angry Ghost and Nashville Hot to Zesty Lemon-Lime Rub and Sweet Teriyaki.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Charleys has more than 600 locations in 47 states and 16 countries. Its products are made with premium ingredients, including 100% USDA choice steak, 100% all-white meat chicken, all-natural cheeses and hand-cut vegetables.
