SAVANNAH, Ga. — Ultimate Sales, a convenience-store foodservice sales and marketing agency based in Savannah, Ga., has formed a national alliance with competing foodservice sales and marketing firm KeyImpact Sales & Systems Inc.

According to the deal, Ultimate Sales will now manage sales for KeyImpact’s c-store clients and KeyImpact’s current c-store accountment management will transfer to Ultimate Sales.

The move comes as KeyImpact looks to increase its focus on the convenience-store segment, the company said.

"We welcome Wes Stone, Tyler Coates, and the entire Ultimate Team to KeyImpact and look forward to providing our clients unparalleled penetration of this critical and growing foodservice segment," said Neil Johnson, CEO of KeyImpact.

KeyImpact was drawn to Ultimate Sales’ longstanding customer relationships with both operators and distributors as well as strong its c-store knowledge and data and analytics support, it said. The combined companies will now focus its infrastructure on client relationships, U.S. facilities, culinary support and marketing services.

Based in Odenton, Md., KeyImpact represents manufacturers of food, as well as packaging and supplies, and provides sales and marketing services to distributors and operators across all segments of the foodservice trade channel. The company employs about 650 associates in 50 states with industry expertise in sales, marketing, culinary, K-12, military, college and university, contract feeding, retail, deli, national and regional commercial chains, recreation and distribution.
