WAWA, Pa. -- Convenience-store chain Wawa Inc. has brought back its popular Free Coffee Fridays promotion, offering any customer enrolled in its Wawa Rewards program a free cup of coffee each Friday during the month of March.
This promotion builds on the success of Wawa’s fall “Free for All” campaign, in which more than 10 million reward offers and freebies were distributed through the Wawa Rewards program and the chain’s mobile app. Wawa anticipates that this month’s Free Coffee Fridays program will be the chain’s largest rewards giveaway promo yet.
“We are thrilled to bring back Free Coffee Fridays,” said Dena Pizzutti, Wawa’s manager of relationship marketing. “Our members love the variety of our rewards, but coffee is definitely the favorite.”
Coupons for the free cups of coffee will be sent to all registered users of the Wawa Rewards mobile app; coupons can be redeemed every Friday through March 31.
“We are delighted to continue to thank our Wawa Rewards members with great savings,” said Pizzutti. “In 2016, more than 10 million rewards were distributed to our members, saving them millions of dollars by using Wawa Rewards, and we expect 2017 to be an even bigger, more rewarding year.”
Based in Wawa, Pa., Wawa Inc. operates more than 720 convenience stores in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
