Wawa’s Secret Menu Gets Dressed Up for Halloween

New spooky treats available only to those in the know

WAWA, Pa. -- Something new and mysterious is lurking behind Wawa Inc.’s touchscreen kiosks. The retailer updated its secret menu with creepy-crawly treats in time for Halloween.

Customers in the know can order three All Hallows’ Eve-inspired concoctions:

  • The Graveyard Smash combines crushed cookies, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, cookie pieces and gummy worms.
  • For fans with a sharp sweet tooth, the Fang-O Mango might hit the spot. The mango smoothie is drizzled with chocolate and topped with a gush of red strawberry sauce on top.
  • The Franken-Mint Macchiato emulates the complexion of the famous bolt-necked monster. The espresso drink is topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and cookie bits.

Customers can access the menu via touchscreen ordering kiosks in the chain's stores. Tapping the pumpkin with the Wawa goose logo in the corner of the screen unlocks the menu and allows guests to select the secret items.

The Wawa, Pa.-based chain launched the hidden menu in April for its anniversary, when customers could score birthday-cake shakes and smoothies. Wawa updated the menu again this summer with a rainbow bagel, and strawberry, mango and citrus lemonade.

With 789 convenience stores, Wawa ranked No. 9 in CSP’s2018 Top 202 list of the largest c-store chains in the United States.
