WARREN, Pa. -- Drinkware manufacturer Whirley-DrinkWorks has pledged its commitment to end childhood hunger by becoming a promotion partner of No Kid Hungry.
Whirley-DrinkWorks will make a donation to No Kid Hungry for each premium mug and souvenir cup sold to restaurants participating in Dine Out for No Kid Hungry, a year-round, restaurant-led campaign to raise funds to end childhood hunger in the United States. Participating restaurants have raised more than $58 million since 2008.
“Supporting this cause is consistent with our culture of giving back to the community,” said Mark Charbonneau, vice president of sales for Whirley-DrinkWorks. “Our team is energized by the opportunity to be a resource to No Kid Hungry partners and provide our expertise in developing successful [limited-time-offer] beverage promotions.”
Whirley-DrinkWorks will announce the partnership at the 2018 National Restaurant Association Show, to be held May 19-22 in Chicago. It will also unveil a line of premium drinkware designed specifically for Dine Out for No Kid Hungry beverage promotions.
