With travel centers and c-stores in 41 states, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is a reliable presence on East-West interstate highways in the United States. In 2017, it opened 36 new travel stops and c-stores in 20 states and entered into a new state, Montana.

With a market efficiency of 2.50 and a price differential of negative 2.88 CPG compared to its local competition in 2017, the retailer is obviously a powerful draw for travelers. The company also operates Love’s Truck Tire Care, a tire-care brand; Musket Corp., a trading and distribution firm; and Gemini Motor Transport, a petroleum hauler. It also offers fleet-fueling and maintenance solutions and QuickQ radio frequency identification (RFID) technology.

In 2018, Love’s sister company, Trillium, which builds compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling locations, entered the hydrogen fueling and EV charging businesses. Trillium will install EV charging stations at some Love’s Travel Stops locations later in 2018. Love’s already has eight sites with EV chargers, including four with Tesla Supercharger stations and four installed by SemaConnect.
