TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. announced today the acquisition of the portfolio of business of Dennis Trigg, formerly with Kendrick Oil, in in the greater Houston area.
Through the acquisition of this family business, more than 80 fuel customers, including traditional delivered-in commercial and retail business as well as rack sales and contracted customers with a current consumption volume of 50 million gallons per year, will now be serviced by Atlas Oil.
Atlas plans to grow the portfolio significantly over the next one to two years, the company said.
Atlas Oil has been a leading fuel company in the Midwest since its founding in 1985, and it is now licensed to operate in 30 states with plans to increase that number to 50 by the end of 2014.

Dennis Trigg will continue to serve as a consultant for Atlas Oil, and his daughter, Terry Moyers, will join the company as a senior account manager and continue to maintain the relationships her family has built in the industry for more than 50 years.
