Barnecut to Lead Wholesale Unbranded Division of SC Fuels

Company’s 20-year veteran to drive “income production”

ORANGE, Calif. -- Industry veteran Pat Barnecut has been selected by SC Fuels to head its Wholesale Unbranded Division, announced Frank P. Greinke, owner and CEO of the Orange, Calif.-based, privately held company.

Barnecut, who has been with SC Fuels since 1992, will oversee all of the unbranded wholesale operations of SC Fuels, including marketing, pricing, dispatching and transportation, in addition to his previous responsibilities on the supply and trading side.

“Pat has been integral to our past success,” said Greinke. “As we look to the future of SC Fuels, we felt that it was important for someone who knew our values and culture to take the helm. We are excited about combining Pat’s operational skills with the responsibility for income production.”

Pat Barnecut said he looks forward to serving as president. “With its people and the right leadership, SC Fuels has the right ingredients for tremendous organic growth,” he said. “The company is on the right track for success over the coming years.”

Established in 1930 as Southern Counties Oil Co., SC Fuels is the oldest and largest petroleum distributor on the West Coast. Serving over 35,000 customers annually, SC Fuels delivers commercial bulk fuels, wholesale branded fuels and alternative fuels at competitive pricing. SC Fuels also is a leading provider of commercial cardlocks, which provide automated fuel purchasing and management systems for customers in the transportation industry.
