Circle K Partners With VNG on CNG

New station offers compressed natural gas fueling in Houston

HOUSTON --Circle K Stores Inc. and VNG.co LLC have entered into an agreement to implement VNG's retail compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling at Circle K's latest convenience store. The new-to-industry Circle K site will be located on the northwest side of Houston.

The location will feature fresh food offerings, 10 gasoline and diesel dispensers, a 4,400-square-foot Circle K c-store and a VNG fast-fill CNG dispenser that will be open to the public 24/7.

VNG is building a network of retail CNG fueling points in the Houston metropolitan area.

"By offering drivers of light duty CNG vehicles a familiar, convenient and reliable retail location to fuel, they can drive with the confidence that CNG will be readily available. As an added bonus, they can take care of their retail needs in a new, contemporary Circle K facility."

VNG takes responsibility for the installation, maintenance, monitoring and operation of its retail CNG fueling equipment, providing fleets with cost-effective, turnkey CNG fueling services within existing retail gasoline stations. VNG provides convenient retail fueling for America's natural gas vehicles.

Today, there are more than 3,300 Circle K convenience stores across the United States.

Laval, Quebec-based Alimenation Couche-Tard Inc.'s network includes approximately 6,250 convenience stores throughout North America, including nearly 5,000 with motor fuel dispensing. Its North American network consists of 13 business units, including nine in the United States covering 39 states and the District of Columbia (under the Circle K brand) and four in Canada (under the Mac's and Couche-Tard brands) covering all 10 provinces.
