On-Demand Fueling Company Adds Fleet Service

Booster Fuels expands reach in Texas and California

BURLINGAME, Calif. -- On-demand fueling service Booster Fuels has added fleet-fueling and tire-care services to its menus in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and San Francisco and San Diego, Calif.

The new offer includes delivery of regular- and premium-grade gasoline and diesel through Booster’s fleet of mini tankers operated by Hazmat tanker-certified drivers. Booster added the service after what it described as successful pilot programs with fleets that ranged from “tens to thousands of vehicles.”

As part of the service, Booster can deliver fuel directly to a fleet during the day, evening or on weekends. Besides eliminating man hours devoted to driving to a gas station to fuel up, Booster said its delivery service reduces the risk of misfueling and enhances safety “by avoiding vehicle and employee exposure to high-risk gas station locations.” It also tracks fuel consumption for fleet customers. Tire-care services include pressure check and inflation, as well as tread check and level tracking.

"At Booster we have reinvented the fuel supply chain by cutting out the gas station,” said Tyler Raugh, co-founder of Booster, Burlingame, Calif. “We are able to provide quality fuel to fleets without adding expense and, in fact, we are able to help fleets save 20% or more on their total fueling expenses."

Booster joins other on-demand services such as Filld and Yoshi in entering the fleet fueling business. It also provides on-demand fueling and vehicle services at corporate and university campuses and retail locations such as shopping malls, although it does not offer residential services. Customers park their car and order a fill-up through the Booster Fuels mobile app. Booster works with more than 300 large employers, including eBay, Facebook, Oracle and Cisco; some of them even offer the service as a free perk to employees.
