Gulf Racing Fuels Named 2015 Official Fuel of World Racing League

Now also distributed in five states by NAPA Myers Auto Parts

HOUSTON -- Gulf Racing Fuels has announced that the World Racing League (WRL), a nationwide, class-based endurance racing series, has selected Gulf Racing Fuels as the official fuel for its 2015 races. Gulf will provide track-side fuel delivery to all classes of race cars from Gulf's line of six racing fuels.

WRL's 2015 schedule begins with the American Sports Car Challenge at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Ky., on March 14, 2015. At this race and others throughout the season, the WRL is featuring new and unique high-octane unleaded racing fuels produced by Gulf Racing Fuels. The MACH unleaded fuels have the highest octane of any national brand, the company said.

"Adding Gulf Racing Fuels' national brand to our current sponsors like Hawk Performance and OMP gives our competitors a better racing experience, and reinforces the fact that they are in a serious and competitive racing environment," WRL President Joey Todd said.

Gulf Racing Fuels has returned to the track with its new racing fuels designed for the legendary vintage and historic racing cars as well as the latest racing and street cars. Gulf Racing Fuels include high-octane unleaded and leaded fuels as well as marine and small-engine fuels featuring Isobutanol. All fuels are distributed nationally by Hyperfuels, based in Houston.

The WRL is a nationwide, class-based endurance racing series.

In other company news, Gulf Racing Fuels are now distributed in five states by NAPA Myers Auto Parts of Williston, N.D.

NAPA Myers Auto Parts now offers five-gallon and 55-gallon drums of six Gulf racing fuels including two Gulf Legend leaded fuels for vintage and historic racers, three Gulf MACH high-octane unleaded fuels designed for cars with engine management systems and the new EPA-Approved Gulf Off Road (includes marine, ATV, motorcycle and snowmobile) made with Gevo Inc.'s moisture resistant renewable isobutanol.

NAPA Myers Auto Parts selected Gulf racing fuels because of the new EPA approved Gulf Off Road fuel that can be used anywhere in the United States. Gulf ATV has no ethanol, which was a key factor in their decision to carry the complete line of Gulf racing fuels.

"Our customers were demanding an ethanol-free gasoline and Gulf Off Road fuel was the only one that was EPA approved for use in all areas. We also wanted to carry Gulf Racing Fuels' complete line of offerings, as high performance is an important market for us and many of our customers. We will be distributing Gulf racing fuels in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Minnesota," said Darroll Myers, owner of NAPA Myers Auto Parts.

NAPA Myers Auto Parts is a full-service wholesale distributor and retailer of automotive parts and accessories. It is one of the largest wholesale distributors of automotive parts in the country.
