This decision, which went into effect March 1, "was made after evaluating availability of replacement fuel in the same market to ensure existing customers would not be adversely impacted by the exit," a Shell spokesperson told CSP Daily News. "This is part of Shell's business strategy to focus on distribution points that deliver the bulk of our volume."
The terminals included in the change were:

Bettendorf, Iowa Council Bluffs, Iowa Des Moines, Iowa Concordia, Kansas El Dorado, Kansas McPherson, Kansas Scott City, Kansas Ferrysburg, Mich. Jackson, Mich. Lima, Mich. Marshall, Mich. Niles, Mich. Springfield, Mo. Albuquerque, N.M. Dayton, Ohio Cleveland, Ohio Tulsa, Okla. Houston-based Shell Oil Products US, a subsidiary of Shell Oil Co., is a major refiner, transporter and marketer fuels and has a network of approximately 6,100 branded gas stations in the western United States.
