Rettiger Named VP, COO of TAC Energy

Expanded responsibilities include retail and terminal operations
TEXARKANA, Texas -- TAC Energy, a division of Truman Arnold Cos. (TAC) has promoted John Rettiger from vice president of wholesale marketing, TAC Energy, to vice president and chief operating officer, TAC Energy.

Rettiger joined Truman Arnold Cos. in February of 2007. As vice president of wholesale marketing, Rettiger was originally responsible for directing marketing efforts for TAC Energy's petroleum distribution, branded sales and wholesale arms. Under the new title, Rettiger will not only maintain his previous duties but will also lead the company's Road Runner retail [image-nocss] stores plus the fuel terminals located in Caddo Mills, Texas, and North Little Rock, Ark.

His most recent accomplishment with TAC Energy was steering the acquisition of the wholesale division of Fuel Managers Inc. through a smooth transition.

Before joining TAC Energy, Rettiger served as CEO of Van Manen Petroleum Group, Grand Rapids, Mich. He has worked in a variety of roles in the petroleum industry over the last 15 years, specializing in wholesale and retail marketing. Rettiger previously worked for BP/Amoco, where he served in several fuel marketing positions.

TAC is a Texarkana, Texas-based company founded by Truman Arnold in 1964 as a branded petroleum jobber. Today, TAC is a leading regional petroleum marketing company, offering customers a variety of services through its network of petroleum terminals and aviation fixed-base operations (FBO) facilities.
