Spatco Acquires Performance Oil Equipment

Mississippi supplier marks 10th expansion in three years

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Spatco Energy Solutions has made its 10th expansion in the past three years as it builds its petroleum equipment supply presence in the Gulf Coast states.

Spatco’s latest acquisition is the assets of Performance Oil Equipment Inc., a Jackson, Miss.-based petroleum equipment and services provider and authorized distributor for Wayne Fueling Systems. Its service footprint includes central and southern Mississippi, eastern Arkansas and eastern Louisiana. Performance Oil President Jimmy Ratcliff will join Spatco as installation manager, while Vice President Wayne Parish will serve as service manager.

“I look forward to aligning with Spatco as the next logical step in our growth in the Gulf market,” Ratcliff said.  “Spatco brings with them complementary solutions that will help serve our valued customers and provide them with additional resources as we grow together.”

Performance Oil is Spatco’s 10th expansion in three years, as it builds up its service footprint in Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee. In 2017, it acquired another Mississippi-based fuel-equipment distributor, PetroTech LLC.
