"It is a small lot," Jeffrey L. Kramer, CEO and manager of 85 7-Eleven stores, including some in the bordering states of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kentucky, told the newspaper. "We usually try to have gas for convenience."
Customers will find the usual convenience product mix, however, including 7-Select private-label items, [image-nocss] as well as foodservice, fountain and coffee service, said the report. This store also has a Sub Express restaurant area with four wooden tables, 16 chairs and restrooms.
The store technically opened last week in a location that was once occupied by another c-store chain, the report added. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with city officials, Miss South Charleston Summerfest Kiley Lanham and store personnel took place yesterday. The event will include prize giveaways, a cake cutting and food sampling.
"I am chief cook and bottle washer," said Kramer, who owns the stores in this territory along with his partners.
The new 7-Eleven will be open 24 hours a day, the paper said, staffed by 10 employees.
