VERC Acquires Marlboro Gulf Station

Mass.-based retailer adds 23rd location

MARLBORO, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises, a leading independent convenience store and gasoline operation with locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, has announced the addition of its 23rd location, in Marlboro, Mass.

The new VERC Gulf is a former Gulf station. It houses a full convenience store with 12 refrigeration units and a full-service Dunkin Donuts counter.

Steve Vieira, whose experience in the gasoline station/convenience store industry spans 7 years, has been named manager of the new Marlboro location.

"As a Marlboro resident, this [image-nocss] is a great way for me to have an expanded role in the community," Vieira said.

He said that the location, open to the public, will undergo remodeling to further enhance its appeal and convenience to customers.

"Marlboro is such a vital community, and one we are delighted to now have a strong presence in," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises. "We look forward to providing superior service to the residents of Marlboro and surrounding communities."

With experience in acquiring sites and renovating throughout the area, Duxbury, Mass.-based VERC Enterprises projected continued growth.
