ELMENDORF, Texas -- VP Racing Fuels Inc. has been named the official fuel of the DRO Nostalgia Nitro Challenge for this season. Under the agreement, VP will deliver nitromethane and alcohol fuels to competitors at all six events on the Hedman Husler Hedders DragRacingOnline.com Nostalgia Nitro Challenge presented by Comp Cams 2015 schedule.
"Having nitro at our events has always been an issue," said series director Jeff Burk. "Series racers have been forced to buy where they could and transport the fuel in their trailer often across the country. Now that we have added fuel altereds and top fuel cars to the funny cars in the program--which should mean more cars at each event--having nitro at the tracks is even more important."
"Our partnership with VP includes a process wherein racers can pre-order VP NitroRace before each race and have it delivered by VP to the track before an event," said Burk.
Separately, VP Racing Fuels Inc. and Road Atlanta have announced a multi-year partnership that will see a strong VP presence as the new official fuel of the historic road racing circuit in Braselton, Ga.
As the official fuel of Road Atlanta, the track's fuel station and gas pumps located in the north paddock will be outfitted with all-new VP Racing Fuels branding and will dispense VP's C9, VP110 and C12 race fuel blends. These fuels will be accessible yearlong to the many competitors and car clubs that visit Road Atlanta. The sign at the end of pit lane on driver's left of the circuit will also prominently display the VP brand.

Also, TORC: The Off-Road Championship Presented by AMSOIL, the nation's premiere short-course, off-road racing series, has announced VP Racing Fuels as its official fuel for the 2015 season. TORC competitors will be powered by VP's high-performance racing fuels beginning with the April 24-25 season opener at Texas Motor Speedway near Dallas.
"After a successful inaugural season last year, we're excited to extend our partnership with TORC and work with BJ Birtwell to continue executing his vision and growing the series," said Chris Wall, VP's chief marketing officer. As the Official Fuel of TORC, VP will provide trackside fuel service at each event, which will include an online pre-order procedure to provide for convenient delivery of specific fuels to teams at the track. VP will gain extensive brand visibility through media exposure including television, radio, print, digital and social media as well as track signage at TORC events.
