Atlas Oil Launches Pricing Portal

Fuel supplier begins rollout of FuelonDemand in regional phases

TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. has launched a new fixed-price portal giving customers visibility into real-time pricing in any region, from any terminal, and allowing them to execute contracts at desirable price points, the company said.

Atlas FuelonDemand

It is rolling out the Atlas FuelonDemand portal in phases, with the first covering customers in Texas, Oklahoma and parts of Michigan. The next phase will expand to customers in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa by mid-February.

The company anticipated that it will offer the portal to all other sales markets by the end of March, it said.

"We are excited to bring this new technology to our customers," said Bob Kenyon, executive vice president of sales and business development for the Taylor, Mich.-based company. "Fuel pricing is very dynamic and our customers can now have a window into real-time fluctuations and use this information to their advantage."

Calling the move a "game changer," Atlas officials said its new Atlas FuelonDemand portal is available during Nymex hours (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern). With this tool, customers can set up alerts or triggers when prices reach desired levels, officials said. In addition, customers will have access to physical inventories in specific markets, allowing for the execution of "day" deals.

The portal is available in both desktop and mobile applications. In addition, customers who require delivered fuel can have access to delivered prices.

A national fuel supply, logistics and services company, Atlas provides solutions to customers throughout the distribution lifecycle, from crude-oil energy and production companies to refineries to retail gas stations and commercial end users nationwide.

Atlas is engaged in all areas of transportation, logistics and fueling, including bulk, fleet, event, onsite, emergency services and trans-loading. The company is highly active in real estate, including the purchase and sale of locations, ownership and operations, branding and marketing, consulting, turnaround and third-party management.

Atlas Oil has a team of nearly 500 staff, equipment and a national network of third-party relationships, company officials said.
