Wayne Introduces EMV-Compliant Secure Payment Terminal

Offers Europay MasterCard and Visa solutions for legacy fuel dispensers

AUSTIN, Texas -- Wayne Fueling Systems, a global provider of fuel dispensing, payment, automation, and control technologies for retail and commercial fuel stations, has announced that its new technology that will provide Europay MasterCard and Visa (EMV) compliance for outdoor fueling dispensers.

The iX Pay T5 and T7 terminals are a one-size-fits-all retrofit kit that enables legacy fuel dispensers in the field, regardless of original equipment manufacturer, to be EMV-compliant using the highest security standards and latest technologies.

“We’re pleased to add the iX Pay T5 and T7 secure payment terminals and retrofit kits to Wayne’s EMV Solutions offering,” said Wayne CEO Neil Thomas. “This product has been engineered to make a retailer’s transition to EMV as easy and cost-effective as possible and provide features and benefits far beyond just meeting the latest EMV payment security compliance standards.”

The iX Pay T5 and T7 terminals are designed to meet the latest published security standards, are Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certified, and are adaptable to future payment changes. Features of this product include a large, seven-inch widescreen VGA display, a touchscreen user interface, media capabilities and a secure keypad. The terminals also integrate with the Wayne Fusion 6000 forecourt controller connecting to the NAMOS POS system.
