Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event officially begins Oct. 7, but Amazon Prime members can fuel up on savings at the gas tank on Oct. 3.

Amazon Prime members can receive $1 off per gallon on one fuel purchase up to 35 gallons at more than 7,500 bp, Amoco and participating ampm sites nationwide on Friday, the Seattle-based retail giant said.

Amazon said that Prime members are eligible for the fuel savings on their next fillup by linking their bp loyalty account, earnify, to their Prime membership account.

“An earnify account is free to create and automatically applies 5 cents savings as a baseline offer, 5 cents savings for Prime members, and an additional 90 cents savings during the promotional period to total $1 off per gallon during this promotional period,” Amazon said.

Once the promotional period concludes, Prime members can access a total of 10 cents off a gallon at participating stations.

In 2024, bp launched earnify, an app designed to go beyond fuel purchase rewards.

Global energy company bp, which has U.S. headquarters in Chicago, owns TravelCenters of America and convenience-store brands ampm and Thorntons in the United States.
