Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. is bringing back its Circle K Fuel Day nationwide on Nov. 21, offering a holiday discount of up to 40 cents per gallon (CPG) between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time, in accordance with applicable laws, with the discount applied directly at the pump. In Wisconsin, customers can save up to $4.50 on a minimum purchase of three gallons.

In May, the chain held its third national Circle K Fuel Day offering a 40-CPG discount. The retailer also regularly holds regional “pop-up” Fuel Days.

More than 5,000 Circle K locations across the United States are participating in Circle K Fuel Day this time around.

“As many customers take to the roads visiting their loved ones and celebrating what they are grateful for, we want to extend our thanks to our valued customers with a great markdown at the pump,” said Louise Warner, executive vice president of North American operations for Circle K. “We know the holidays are full of busy schedules and celebrations, which is why we’re pleased to offer our customers a way to save as part of our commitment to making their lives a little easier.”

Other retailers are also announcing holiday-timed discounts. On Tuesday, in an annual promotion, Altoona, Pennsylvania-based regional fuel retailer Sheetz Inc. said that it is lowering the price of Unleaded 88 gasoline at its convenience stores by 40 cents per gallon (CPG) from Nov. 19 through Nov. 30.

  • Alimentation Couche-Tard is No. 2 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count. Sheetz is No. 13.

Laval, Quebec-based Couche-Tard operates in 31 countries and territories, with more than 16,700 stores. Its network includes more than 7,100 stores in the United States under the Circle K and Holiday Stationstores banners, and approximately 2,100 in Canada under the Circle K and Couche-Tard banners.
