Cyclum NextGen Travel Centers, a renewable fuel dispenser, convenience-store and travel center company, is entering a branding agreement with Houston-based Phillips 66 and its 76 brand.

Cornelius, North Carolina-based Cyclum will provide consumers with 76-branded gasoline and 76-branded renewable diesel. It will also offer renewable and zero carbon solutions such as hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG) and electric vehicle (EV) charging.

“This agreement strengthens our mission to lead in renewable fuel innovation,” said Brian Profitt, CEO of Cyclum. “By combining Phillips 66’s fuel expertise with Cyclum’s vision and plan for zero carbon energy, we’re building a foundation to meet the growing demand for multiple fuel solutions.”

The new hubs will also provide fresh food options and other amenities. Designed for both passenger vehicles and the logistics industry, Cyclum’s travel centers aim to set a new standard for convenience and comfort on the road, according to the company.

“We are excited to team with Cyclum to bring our brand and their travel centers to consumers,” said Rod Palmer, vice president of U.S. and U.K. marketing at Phillips 66. “We are focused on providing an elevated fueling experience for consumers.”

Cyclum plans to build 400 travel centers nationwide over the next 10 years.

“Transport fuels are in the early stages of transition to a zero-carbon future,” Polly Flinn, COO of Cyclum, told CSP. “We believe we have the strategy and expertise to provide fueling options no matter what type of vehicle someone drives.”
