As reported in a 21st Century Smoke/CSP Daily News Flash, Jackson, Ala.-based Bumpers Oil, a family owned and operated company, has converted three gas stations in its service area--two in Jackson and one in Grove Hill--to the Gulf brand. The company is also working on plans to raise the Gulf flag at as many as six additional sites in the state.

Bumpers Oil currently owns four gas stations and distributes fuel to 30 more.

"Bumpers Oil is a terrific partner for us as we continue our national expansion and move back into areas of Alabama that haven't seen the Gulf brand in over 20 years," said Gulf Oil senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer Rick Dery.

"We turned to Gulf because it is a brand with a trusted history and great reputation," said Chris Bumpers, owner of Bumpers Oil. "Our customers love to see the iconic orange and blue logo flying high in Alabama once again, and they feel great about filling their tanks with Gulf gas.'

Gulf Oil is a national, branded supplier of motor fuels. The Framingham, Mass.-based company is one of the Northeast's largest wholesalers of refined petroleum products, and it is expanding nationwide. Gulf Oil distributes motor fuels through a network of more than 2,500 branded gas stations in 27 states, 12 proprietary oil terminals and more than 130 other supply points.
