Nebraska Iowa Supply Co. was founded in 1926 and currently operates from its base in Omaha as a distributor/retailer of petroleum and related products in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. Currently, half of Nebraska Iowa Supply's sales are wholesale to independent associate marketers, while the other half include direct retail sales at its corporate owned c-stores as well as bulk fuels and lubricants to farm, home, industrial and commercial accounts.
The company has diversified into tire distribution, heating equipment sales and service, automotive parts, family restaurants and convenience stores. Direct retail operations at Petromart Omaha, Petromart I, and Petromart II in Blair, Neb., Petromart Travel Plaza/The Junction Cafe, Missouri Valley Iowa, Dave's World, Onawa, Iowa, along with branch office/warehouse locations in Omaha and Norfolk, Neb., consisting of bulk truck operations distributing fuels and lubricants directly to farm, home, industrial and commercial accounts in the Omaha and Norfolk areas represent the other 50%, it said.
