Onvo, a northeastern Pennsylvania-based travel plaza chain, is offering fuel promotions, branded merchandise and more as the official travel plaza sponsor of Penn State Athletics.

  • Onvo is No. 162 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

The season-long promotions offer fuel savings for customers through the Onvo app following Penn State victories. During the fall football season, customers can enjoy 20 cents off per gallon on the Monday after a win. Similar promotions will be available for Men’s Ice Hockey in the winter and Men’s Lacrosse in the spring, with specific details to be announced later.

Onvo has also partnered with Pepsi and Penn State to launch the Onvo x Pepsi Refiller Program, featuring a co-branded collectible travel mug that highlights all three brands. Consumers can purchase the limited-edition mug while supplies last and enjoy 99 cent refills throughout the season, plus free refills on game days.

Additionally, customers can collect limited-edition Penn State Football Game Day Pins, available exclusively at select Onvo locations—Mifflintown, Duncannon, Dorrance, Avis, Blakeslee, Hickory Run and Mifflinville—by showing their game ticket.

This year, Onvo has teamed up with four Pennsylvania athletes through a name, image and likeness (NIL) partnership for the “Game Day Ritual” campaign. Football players Keon Wylie and Dominic DeLuca, women’s lacrosse player Maggie Golder and track and field runner Ashley Pines will showcase their own game day rituals through videos on their social channels, amplified with paid media support from Onvo.

Onvo will also host a special White Out Game activation on Sept. 27, where consumers can stop by a retro-inspired photo pit stop for Polaroid-style photos featuring co-branded props and custom road signs pointing the way to Beaver Stadium.

“As Onvo expands their presence across the state, we are excited to continue our partnership with Onvo,” said Daniel Solomon, vice president of corporate partnerships at Penn State Sports Enterprises, Playfly.  “Their commitment to creating meaningful campaigns that connect with our fan base is something we truly value. Seeing Onvo collaborate directly with our student-athletes takes an already special relationship to the next level.”

Onvo operates a network of approximately 40 c-stores, travel plazas and gas stations, as well as restaurants and hotels and a petroleum distribution company that supports businesses across the region.
