Sheetz Inc. kicked off the 2024 holiday season early for its customers by reducing the price of Unleaded 88 gasoline at its convenience stores by 40 cents per gallon (CPG). This limited-time promotion began Nov. 19 and runs through Nov. 30.

The price will only be available at the 505 Sheetz locations that offer Unleaded 88, the retailer said, and the offer may vary at Sheetz locations in Maryland due to local pricing laws.

Unleaded 88 has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in all 2001 and newer cars, trucks and SUVs.

In the summer, Sheetz lowered the price of Unleaded 88 to be 20 cents lower than the price of Unleaded 87 as part of a sweepstakes.

In 2023, as a Thanksgiving promotion, Sheetz reduced the price of Unleaded 88 gasoline to $1.99 a gallon from Nov. 20 through Nov. 27, for a second year in a row, at all its stores that offer the fuel grade in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

  • Sheetz is No. 13 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Established in 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sheetz operates more than 750 convenience stores throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio and North Carolina.
