Speedway Named Official Fuel and C-Store for IndyCar

Brand to supply fuel for Indianapolis 500 and other IndyCar Series races

ENON, Ohio -- Speedway has been named the official fuel and c-store for the IndyCar race series, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis 500.

Speedway LLC signed a multiyear agreement with Hulman & Co., owner of IndyCar and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, that grants it several promotional opportunities tied to the races, beginning in 2019. Speedway will supply fuel for all racing cars at every IndyCar Series race. In 2019, this includes 17 races, starting with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Fla., in March and ending with the IndyCar Grand Prix of Monterey, Calif., in September. And in May, Speedway will supply fuel for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Speedway will also supply fuel for Hulman & Co.'s fleet.

As part of the agreement, Speedway will get promotional signage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and its media assets will be included in NBC Sports' exclusive coverage of the IndyCar Series, beginning in 2019.

Speedway LLC, Enon, Ohio, a subsidiary of Findlay, Ohio-based Marathon Petroleum Corp., has nearly 4,000 c-stores in 35 states, and ranks No. 3 in CSP's 2018 Top 202 ranking of the largest c-store chains. Eleven of the states in which it operates will feature IndyCar Series races in 2019.
