Thorntons Flexing Its Promotional Muscles

Flex-Fuel Earth Day promotion offering free E85

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Thorntons Inc. has announced that on April 2, Earth Day, it launched the Thorntons Flex-Fuel Earth Day Promotion, through which customers who drive a flex-fuel vehicle and enter can have a chance to win free flex-fuel for a year.

Thorntons currently has 63 locations throughout the company's five state operating area of Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee that offer the fuel.

The Thorntons Flex-Fuel promotion will extend through Sunday, April 30.

Customers can enter the contest by logging onto the Thorntons website at http://www.thorntonsinc.com/Flex-Fuel.html and filling out the necessary information. By signing up, customers will automatically receive a free $5 Thorntons Flex-Fuel gift card (good for flex-fuel purchases for flex-fuel vehicles only).

Thorntons has been offering E85 flex fuel since 2006.

This promotion is supported and sponsored by the Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky Corn Growers Associations.
