Triumph Energy Names New President and CEO

Jason Wittekind has served in several roles since joining petroleum marketer in 2013

CINCINNATI — Hawkstone Associates Inc.—doing business as Triumph Energy Corp.—has promoted Jason Wittekind to president and CEO. Current president Ronald Wittekind will become the executive chairman.

Jason Wittekind joined the company in 2013 and has served in several roles since then.

“Jason has been a key part of our success in the past years, and we are thrilled to promote him to this position to lead the company into its second generation,” said Ronald Wittekind.

Jason Wittekind was the corporate controller with North American Properties for seven years, and before that was a part of audit and assurance advisory services with Deloitte for five years. He is a member of the Ohio Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Association board of directors and the Indiana Food and Fuel Association board and member of the Sunoco National Brand Council.

Found in 1981, Cincinnati-based Triumph Energy is a petroleum marketer operating in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. The company is a distributor of Shell, BP, Sunoco and Marathon fuel products to a wide variety of independent operators. In addition to the fuel distribution business, the company operates approximately 50 convenience stores in four states. It also operates a facilities maintenance group, fuel transportation group and develops commercial real estate.
