SAN ANTONIO —VP Racing Fuels Inc., known for its c-store retail branding program, has expanded into quick-lube centers with the opening of its first VP FastLube location.

The VP FastLube facility, which opened in Fredericksburg, Texas, in April, features the program’s store imaging and credit-card program. The owner has access to VP Racing Fuels’ preferred supplier program and discounts on bulk oil.

Licensees of the new VP FastLube quick-lube branding program will also benefit from VP’s brand recognition among motorsports and performance racing fans, and the association with VP Racing Fuels’ network of more than 300 branded gas stations, according to the company.

“Our store owner in Fredericksburg gets it,” said Karen Madden, vice president of VP branded retail. “With everything the VP brand and our programs have to offer, just as we’ve seen with our branded gas stations and c-stores, the FastLube platform is poised to take off from coast to coast.”

Also in April, VP Racing Fuels opened its first branded marina and c-store, located in Kingsland, Texas, on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. The company said it expects to open more marina locations.

San Antonio-based VP Racing Fuels plans to expand its network of VP FastLubes, branded convenience stores and PowerWash car-wash centers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
