14 C-Store Chains Offering Holiday Promotions

Here are some of the many examples of what c-stores are doing to celebrate …
Cumberland Farms
Cumberland Farms, Westborough, Mass., will offer Spice Cookie Coffee, Peppermint Hot Chocolate and a French Toast Breakfast sandwich through the holiday. Each item is available at all Cumberland Farms stores in the Northeast and Florida. The Spice Cookie Coffee and Peppermint Hot Chocolate are available for 99 cents ($1.29 for an extra-large iced coffee in Florida), while the French Toast Breakfast Sandwich costs $2.99. The sandwich features thickly sliced challah bread, traditional breakfast-style sausage and a peppered fried egg seared on a griddle.
7-Eleven
7-Eleven, Irving, Texas, has introduced the Mountain Dew Merry Mash-Up, a holiday-themed, limited-time Slurpee flavor, in participating stores while supplies last. The Slurpee combines cranberry and pomegranate flavors and was first rolled out last year as a soft drink.
Beyond the frozen beverage, 7-Eleven is also offering an LED light-up digital message cup for the holidays. The interactive cup displays scrolling LED message banners with custom text created from users' smartphones and sent via Bluetooth connection. Messages are entered in the "Hello Cup" app and can be up to 250 characters in length. Available with either red or blue lights, the cup can hold 20 ounces of cold or hot beverages and is available for $24.99.
Casey’s General Stores
Casey’s General Stores, Ankeny, Iowa, is offering 12 customers the chance to win $1,000 this holiday. Every customer who orders a Casey’s item online between Dec. 9 and Dec. 31 will be entered into the sweepstakes, which limits entries to one a day. Beyond the $1,000 awarded to the winner, Casey’s will also donate another $1,000 to a nonprofit that is located in the winner’s community.
Circle K
Circle K, Laval, Quebec, is relaunching its annual 12 Days of Circle K promotion for the holiday. Between Dec. 13 and Dec. 24, consumers can redeem a variety of limited-time promotions through the Circle K mobile app for categories other than alcohol, fuel, tobacco and lottery. To redeem the offers, customers must download the app, register as a loyalty member, check the “deals” section within it and head to a Circle K store to purchase the item.
Daily's
Daily’s, a division of First Coast Energy LLC, Jacksonville, Fla., has launched its 12 Days of Giveaways for this year’s holiday. The company is offering different prizes each day to a customer who follows its twitter page and retweets the corresponding tweet for that day. Prizes included tickets to an NFL game, an acoustic guitar with a skateboard, tickets to a college football game, concert tickets and more.
Sinclair
Sinclair Oil Corp., Salt Lake City, is offering customers the chance to win various prizes this holiday. Items include Dino-themed blankets, socks, toys and more. To enter, customers must submit their name and email address via the entry form on the company’s website.
GetGo Markets & Cafe
GetGo Cafe & Market, a division of Pittsburgh-based Giant Eagle, is promoting its 24 Days of Holiday Surprises. Throughout the month of December, the company has revealed new discounts and promotions every day of the week, including 50% off chicken strips and free 5 Hour Energy shots. Customers must use the GetGo mobile app to redeem the rewards.
CEFCO
CEFCO, Temple, Texas, has launched its 12 Days of Coupons promotion for Christmas. Patrons must text the word GIFT to 27640 to be eligible for the coupons, and for every 1 cent customers redeem, CEFCO will match their purchase with a 25-cent donation to that customer’s local Habitat for Humanity.
Hutch's
Hutchinson Oil Co. and its Hutch's c-stores, Elk City, Okla., is offerings consumers big money for the holiday. Those who swipe their Hutch’s Rewards Tag will be entered to win a $500 gift card. The company will select 12 winners over the course of 12 days in December.
Double Quick
Double Quick, Indianola, Miss., has launched its 12 Days of Christmas promotion, through which customers can enter to win various prizes. By entering their information via the company’s website, consumers may get a new coupon for every day between Dec. 25 and Jan. 5, as well as a bag of “Santa’s goodies.”
Thorntons
Thorntons, Louisville, Ky., is celebrating the holiday season with 25 days of Refreshing Rewards Giveaways. From Dec. 1 through Dec. 25, it will reward customers with a deal of the day every day when theypurchase the current day’s item and swipe a Refreshing Rewards card at the register. Deals include savings on single-item purchases or buy one, get one free offers.
Spinx
Greenville, S.C.-based Spinx is running its 25 Days of Spinxmas promotion through Christmas Day. The chain is giving away snacks, beverages, merchandise, gift cards, fuel discounts and more.
Speedway
Speedway, Enon, Ohio, is celebrating the holidays with its 25 Days of Deals holiday promotion, running from Dec. 1 to Dec. 25. Deals include buy one, get one snacks and candy, plus bonus points on gift-card purchases, beverages, meat snacks, energy drinks and other merchandise.
Stewart's Shops
Throughout December, Stewart’s Shops is offering Holiday Gift Giveaways on Facebook. It is giving away a half-gallon of Peppermint Stick Ice Cream, a pint of seasonal favorite Snickerdoodle, a hand-packed pint of Eggnog ice cream, a Milkshake with Eggnog Ice Cream gift certificate and a quart of Eggnog. To enter, participants must share Stewart's Shops' Facebook post and comment on their favorite holiday flavor.
The Ballston Spa, N.Y.-based retailer is also running the Winter Essential Giveaway, offering snow brushes, shovels, hats, gloves and fuel, also on Facebook. Participants must comment on why they need the items.
And as it does every year, Stewart's is also running its Holiday Match charitable giving program.
