NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Eby-Brown Co. LLC has announces the retirement of longtime industry and company veteran Ralph Kallman. Geno Kurolapnik will replace Kallmann as customer merchandising manager.
While in college, Kurolapnik completed an internship with Eby-Brown within the sales department. He joined Eby-Brown in June 2011. He is currently responsible for managing Eby-Brown's Vendor Day Program and overseeing SmartProcess interface with the sales department. Prior to his current responsibilities within the merchandising department, Kurolapnik spent time in various positions within Eby-Brown's sales and procurement departments, respectively.
Kurolapnik began his full-time career as a sales management trainee focused on independent sales training. As a replenishment buyer he handled purchasing responsibilities for the other tobacco products (OTP) and store supplies categories. Most recently, as a key account manager, Kurolapnik managed the day-to-day operational execution of one of Eby-Brown's major retail partners.
Naperville, Ill.-based Eby-Brown is the largest privately-owned wholesale distribution company to the convenience industry, it said.
