GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Distributor Convenience Valet has appointed industry veteran Brad Heetland to its board of directors.
“Brad and I have had many positive work experiences over the last 25 years,” said Steve Jungmann, president and CEO of Convenience Valet. “His longstanding industry relationships are impressive, and he has had outstanding results in many roles. He will be a great addition to our board.”
Heetland brings nearly four decades of industry experience to Convenience Valet. He helped steer Kraft Foods’ convenience-store business from 1980 to 2010 and was president of the Core-Mark Atlanta Division for four years until October 2017. Heetland, who is currently the division vice president of convenience retail foodservice for Advantage Solutions, has also held various leadership roles with NACS over the past 13 years.
“Brad will bring new energy and insight to our board,” said Chip Weinberg, chairman of Convenience Valet’s board. “We believe his experience will be extremely valuable as Convenience Valet continues to grow in many retail channels.”

Glendale Heights, Ill.-based Convenience Valet specializes in repacking and distributing brands in health and beauty care (HBC), automotive and other general-merchandise categories. It distributes more than 500 branded HBC, over-the-counter, personal-care and sundries products in convenience or travel sizes and has an expansive distribution network through which its partners' products can reach consumers nationwide. The company is part of Cleveland-based private-equity group Weinberg Capital Group Co.
